2013 Duluth Recreational Soccer League Registration

Whether you participate with the men's or women's, each league (DASL or DRSL) is composed of separate divisions. These subdivisions within each league aim to provide different levels of competition for its participants.

In general, COMPETITIVE TEAMS have players with considerable experience in playing the game of soccer. Most have played growing up in youth leagues, played on their high school teams, and many have college experience. The general age of participants is 18-40 years of age. This is considered the highest level of soccer you can play in the area.

Our RECREATIONAL TEAMS consist of players of varying soccer backgrounds. These players are less inclined to be "ultra-competitive,” but do go out, play hard and have a good time. The ability and ages of our participants varies dramatically. Most of our players have some background in playing the game. Many played back when they were younger, stopped for one reason or another, only to get the itch to play later in life. That is where we come in. Whatever your story, this may be the venue for you to lace the boots back up and give it a try.

Our COED LEAGUE is a perfect venue for anyone one interested. This league is open to all men and women. It provides another recreational venue for the aspiring (or not so inspiring) soccer player. This registration is also found under the DRSL registration link below.

Costs to play vary from league to league and team to team. Generally expect to pay between $100-$125 for the season.

All DRSL players must register through our online registration process. DASL players who would like to join a team should also fill out the online registration found at the top of the home page.

If you still are a bit apprehensive about participating on a league team and would simply like to kick the ball around, a number of scheduled "pickup” games happen throughout the summer. There is no obligation to participate; it simply is a group of men and women coming together to scrimmage and have a good time.
